Driven by a commitment to exceptional care, Dr. Kasmani pursued a residency in Hospital-Based Optometry at the Perry Point VA Medical Center in Maryland. During his time there, he gained invaluable experience in ophthalmic care, treating a diverse range of patients with various eye diseases and conditions.
To better assist patients with limited vision due to conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, Stargardt's disease, and retinitis pigmentosa, Dr. Kasmani trained under the renowned low vision specialist, Dr. Richard Shuldiner, OD, FAAO. He is proud to be a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, a prestigious group of elite low vision doctors.
Outside of his professional practice, Dr. Kasmani enjoys family life with his wife, their two adult children, and their spouses. He is an avid reader, with a passion for books across all genres. He also finds joy in comedy movies and appreciates the tranquility of hiking and quiet days at home with his cat.
